Design & Decor Contest
Can't wait for the new edition of Elle Decor? Obsessively read design and decor blogs? Ever thought, I could design that room better? Then show off your inner interior decorator with The Painted Lady's online design and decor competition!
The rules are easy and the prizes are exciting. Participants can choose from one of three categories: Bedroom, Living Room, or Dining Room. Up to five digital images of these self-designed rooms can be submitted, of course we'd love to see items you've purchased from The Painted Lady in your room but it is not a requirement for entry!
Our panel of seasoned judges — Beth Harlow, The Painted Lady's owner; Jan Parr, Editor of Chicago Home & Garden Magazine, and Annie Wasserman of Nate Berkus Designs — will review each picture for originality of vision, layout and proportion, and overall ambiance. The judges will choose one winner from each category, and the three winners will be announced on April 8, 2010 during a exclusive cocktail reception at The Painted Lady.
Prizes include Gift Baskets from local North Bucktown merchants, a year subscription to Chicago Home & Garden Magazine and Gift Certificates from The Painted Lady. All submissions are due by March 11, 2010. Send images to thepaintedladychicago@yahoo.com. Participants' choice of room should be specified in the subject title and items purchased from The Painted Lady should be identified in the body of the email. Please, only non-professionals should submit their work.
Any questions about the contest should be directed to Anne Chalesle, anne@cestmoi.us.
